After a successful interview and subject to suitability, safeguarding, and identity checks, we will work to secure you a paid placement in a school to develop your skills further.

Before starting your placement, you will complete a comprehensive training program delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders, equipping you with essential skills to work as a Teaching Assistant.

Teaching Assistants play a vital role in the smooth running of schools. The most effective Assistants have excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting children's daily needs. They build relationships with staff, children, and families.

The role varies by school. You may support the teacher in class, run small group interventions, or work one-on-one to meet individual needs and help children thrive.
