The Role:

As a Trainee Teacher, you will work alongside experienced educators, observing and assisting in the delivery of lessons, supporting student learning, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of the classroom. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and mentorship, preparing you for a successful career in teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.

  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Contribute to student progress monitoring and reporting.

  • Participate in school training and professional development opportunities.

About You:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience working with children or young people in an educational or support capacity.

  • A genuine passion for education and a strong desire to become a qualified teacher.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
