Job summary

Mantra Services Limited is seeking a Trainee Surveyor for a full-time position based in Northampton. You will join a survey team, gain practical skills through on-the-job training, and progress within the team under experienced colleagues on projects across mainland UK.

Occasional overnight, weekend, and away-from-home work may be required as we operate across the UK. Full training will be provided, and a valid UK driving licence is essential.

We provide a range of services including Utility Mapping and GPR Surveys, 3D Laser Scanning, and Topographical Surveys.

Role Description

This is a full time Trainee Surveyor role located in Northampton, working on sites covering the entire mainland UK. The candidate will work within a survey team conducting the various types of surveys, developing skills by undertaking on-the-job training to gain the knowledge and skills required to progress within the team from experienced surveyors and other associated colleagues.

As we work across the UK, occasional overnight, weekend and working away from home will be required.

Qualifications & Experience

Full training and development will be provided from the outset of the appointment.

Although previous experience is not always necessary. The candidate must:

• Have a passion for a career as a surveyor.
• Good problem-solving skills
• Have a full clean UK driving licence. Held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Have a desire to learn and work as part of a team environment.
• Have an appreciation of early mornings and outdoor working in all weathers.
• Willingness to travel and occasionally work away.
• Right to Work in the UK.
