Job summary

Liverpool City Council is seeking a Trainee Stores Assistant to join the Neighbourhoods & Housing stores team at Citywide. You will support stock delivery, distribution, and depot maintenance while working as part of a small team and using a computer at times.

Applicants should have 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, be prepared for year-round outdoor work, and be willing to undertake training. The post offers agile working where possible, generous leave, pension options, and progression

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at grade 9-5 including English and Maths.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training during the programme.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the stores function and assist with stores/yard tasks.
• Assist with delivery of stock items and distribution.
• Keep the stores depot clean and stock stored safely.
• Work with colleagues and staff across the service in a professional manner.
