Purpose

Deichmann Shoes has an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a Trainee Store Manager, supporting our Epsom store and surrounding areas including Croydon, Sutton, Crawley, Hounslow, Kingston, and other stores within a reasonable commuting distance.

As a Trainee Store Manager, you will be offered a competitive salary of £27,000 per annum. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring full flexibility across the week and in terms of travel, as you will work in multiple stores. A full/valid UK driving license is preferable.

Key Activities

1. Motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service
2. Lead by example in promoting and selling shoe care products, demonstrating confidence and product knowledge
3. Manage resource planning and rota drafting within budget
4. Oversee stock management
5. Analyze sales performance data and reports
6. Recommend strategies to improve sales based on data and customer insights
7. Maintain company standards in merchandising and administration
8. Support the delivery of KPIs and meet company standards
9. Assist in recruitment and training of staff
