Job summary

GRAHAM is looking for a motivated Trainee Site Manager to join our Construction team in Scotland. You will support delivering diverse building projects while pursuing a fully funded Higher Apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience in health and safety, site coordination, programme delivery, and project management.

You'll work on complex sites from setup to completion, learning to deliver high‑quality buildings safely, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Currently studying, or intending to undertake, a degree‑level qualification in a construction‑related discipline.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Strong IT skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to work throughout Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of construction projects from site set-up through to completion.
• Assist the Site Management team in coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, and maintaining programme targets.
• Promote and uphold high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality on site.
• Assist with procurement and management of materials, plant, and site logistics.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the project team.
• Support project close‑out activities including snagging, testing, commissioning and handover.
