Job summary

GRAHAM Academy is seeking a motivated Trainee Site Manager (Graduate Apprenticeship) in Glasgow. You will combine hands-on site work with funded higher-level study, supporting project delivery from setup to handover while learning health and safety, coordination, and quality control.

Join a dynamic construction team, develop leadership and technical skills, and progress toward site management responsibilities across varied sectors in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Currently studying, or intending to undertake, a degree-level qualification in a construction-related discipline and able to meet, or have already met, the entry requirements of the relevant training provider.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Strong IT skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to work throughout Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of construction projects from site set-up through to completion.
• Assist the Site Management team in coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, and maintaining programme targets.
• Promote and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality on site.
• Assist with the procurement and management of materials, plant, and site logistics.
• Build effective working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
• Support project close-out activities, including snagging, testing and commissioning, and client handover.
