Job summary

GRAHAM Academy in London, the Interior Fit-Out division, invites applications for a Trainee Site Manager (Apprentice). You will work alongside experienced site managers on interior fit‑out and refurbishment projects across the UK and Ireland, gaining hands‑on experience from pre‑construction to handover.

The two‑year programme combines on‑site learning with mentored training and a pathway to Chartered status, including a supported route to professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undertake a relevant Higher-Level Apprenticeship in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Surveying, or a related built environment discipline.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Keen interest in construction, project delivery, and interior fit‑out.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of interior fit‑out and refurbishment projects from site set‑up through to completion and handover.
• Assist the Site Management team in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities to achieve programme milestones.
• Promote and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance on site.
• Assist with the management of materials, plant, logistics, and site operations.
• Monitor project progress and support the successful delivery of works within programme and budget requirements.
• Build effective working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team.
• Support project close‑out activities, including snagging, testing and commissioning, and client handover.
• Attend project meetings and site inspections while developing an understanding of fit‑out construction methodologies and project delivery.
