Job summary

T&K Associates is seeking a Trainee Service Field Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. You will work as part of a two-person team visiting customers across the country and sometimes overseas.

The role offers full training, a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday (8:30am-5pm), plus 23 days holiday rising to 28 days with 5 years’ service, a pension scheme, expenses paid, and other staff-focused benefits such as birthday celebrations and company events.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Good mechanical and/or electrical knowledge is ideal but not required.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs.
