Job summary

FRP Advisory is seeking a Trainee Apprentice for the Teesside Restructuring team. You will support the team to deliver solvent liquidations for SMEs and large groups across the UK while working towards a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship.

You will draft documentation, monitor compliance, and engage with external advisers as experience grows. This is an entry path into professional services with on-the-job learning and formal qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Must be aged 18 or over by September 2026.
  • Recent school/college leaver with A-levels (or equivalent) at grade B or above.
  • Minimum five GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C/5 or above.
  • Demonstrates clear, honest, and considered approach to work.
  • Highly motivated team player with strong written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform office administration tasks including dealing with visitors and post.
  • Respond to incoming calls and correspondence and draft letters/reports for the case management team.
  • Assist Managers and the wider team with case portfolios, including statutory paperwork and take-on administration.
  • Maintain case management system and other software to document statutory compliance and transactions.
  • Diary management and scheduling meetings with staff and clients.
  • Produce time cost summaries for statutory reports.
  • Answer main office phone during busy periods and pass messages to staff.

Role overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our experienced Restructuring team at FRP Advisory in our Teesside office. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the professional services sector, develop professional expertise and gain a recognised qualification while working.

The role combines practical, on‑the‑job learning whilst working towards a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship.

As a Trainee Apprentice, you will be responsible for supporting the Teesside Restructuring team working to deliver solvent liquidations for SMEs and large groups based across the UK. Working within this team, you will assist with drafting documentation to allow companies to be placed into solvent liquidation whilst also documenting and tracking compliance throughout the process alongside the management team.

As you develop and gain more experience, you will begin to start dealing with external professional advisors and liaise with directors and shareholders to agree key dates and provide updates.

Qualification:

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship

Key Responsibilities Include

Qualifications
  • Will be aged 18 or over by September 2026
  • Are a recent school or college leaver who holds A-levels (or equivalent) at grade B or above
  • Achieved minimum of five GCSEs (including English and Maths, at grade C/grade 5 or above).
