Job summary

Network Plus in Worsley is offering a permanent full-time Trainee Reinstatement Operative role to learn how to safely reinstate roads, footpaths and surfaces after essential utility works. You will develop practical trade skills on real site projects for United Utilities, under supervision.

This is a hands-on opportunity to build a career in the utilities sector with a supportive team behind you, where safety and teamwork are valued as you gain experience and responsibility on gradual tasks.

• You enjoy practical, outdoor work and are happy working in all weathers
• You’re reliable, punctual and willing to learn from experienced colleagues
• You take safety seriously and can follow instructions carefully

• You work well in a team and communicate clearly
• A full UK driving license is essential

Responsibilities

• Learning how to safely reinstate roads, footpaths and other surfaces after utility works
• Preparing work areas, mixing and laying materials, compacting surfaces and completing finished reinstatement work
• Supporting safe site set-up, including signing, guarding and keeping work areas tidy
• Using hand tools, equipment and small plant safely under supervision
• Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality work for customers and local communities
