Network Plus is seeking a Trainee Reinstatement Operative to join its team in Fazakerley, delivering on-site reinstatement of roads, footpaths and surfaces after essential utility works.

This trainee position offers practical hands-on learning, exposure to real site environments and a pathway to a long-term career in utilities, with support from experienced colleagues and the broader United Utilities operation.

• A full UK driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Learning how to safely reinstate roads, footpaths and other surfaces after utility works.
• Preparing work areas, mixing and laying materials, compacting surfaces and completing finished reinstatement work.
• Supporting safe site set-up, including signing, guarding and keeping work areas tidy.
• Using hand tools, equipment and small plant safely under supervision.
• Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality work for customers and local communities
