Portman Recruitment Limited in Manchester City Centre is seeking a motivated individual to train as a Recruitment Consultant in our permanent recruitment team. Starting salary is £25,000 with uncapped commission, plus full training and support.

This is a people-focused sales role requiring proactive outreach and relationship building. You'll be speaking with candidates, matching them to live vacancies, and developing client relationships across social work and related sectors.

Formación

• Confident phone manner and resilient attitude.
• Experience in call centres, sales, customer service, or outbound calling.
• Organised with ability to manage a busy workload.
• Willing to earn commission and progress within the team.

Responsabilidades

• Speak with candidates about live permanent vacancies.
• Make daily outbound calls to new and existing candidates.
• Use WhatsApp, email and LinkedIn to move conversations forward.
• Understand candidate experience, salary expectations and availability.
• Match candidates to roles secured by the business.
• Keep accurate notes and stay organised with follow-ups.
• Build long-term relationships with candidates in specialist sectors.
• Work closely with the team to generate interviews and placements.
