Thrive Oldham is recruiting a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Oldham branch. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to support recruitment activities, register job seekers and get them ready for work.

The role suits a proactive administrator with strong communication who wants to progress into recruitment consultancy. You'll receive hands-on training from a diverse team across several sectors, with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn driving your development and success

Responsibilities

• Identify and attract potential candidates through job boards, social media, LinkedIn and networking.
• Assist with sourcing, screening and shortlisting candidates for vacancies.
• Conduct initial telephone interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience and suitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients.
• Support senior consultants with managing client accounts and understanding recruitment requirements.
• Advertise vacancies and write engaging job descriptions.
• Match candidates to suitable opportunities based on skills and experience.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients for a smooth process.
• Follow up with candidates and clients to gather feedback and provide updates.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client records on the database.
• Develop understanding of recruitment market, trends and salary expectations.
• Work towards individual and team targets and KPIs.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the process.
• Develop sales and business development skills to identify new clients.
