Rule Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join their established team in Watford, with a warm desk from day one. You will work across UK and European built environment markets, focusing on data centres, QS, and project management, with potential to grow into a 360 consultant role.

The role offers a base salary of £27–28k for trainees, rising to £30–35k as a consultant, plus 30% commission and a quarterly bonus, with one WFH day per week in a spacious Watford office.

The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We are working with specialist recruitment firm focused on the UK and European construction and built environment markets. They work with leading clients on exclusive roles across areas such as data centres, quantity surveying and project management, using a headhunting-led approach to find top white‑collar talent. You will be part of a growing start‑up, and build your career in a high‑billing environment, with the top biller doing over £100k months!

The Incentives – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• £27–28k base for a Trainee, rising to £30–35k at Consultant level.
• 30% commission on total billings, alongside a quarterly bonus.
• Warm desk from day one – 6–7 exclusive clients, 50–60 live roles and no need to start from scratch with business development.
• Strong delivery focus initially, with the opportunity to develop into a 360 consultant over time.
• One established WFH day per week, with the rest of the week spent collaborating in the office.
• 8am–5pm working hours, based in a spacious office in Watford with onsite parking
• Direct access to the business leaders, with hands‑on support, industry mapping and help developing your recruitment skills.
• Exposure to UK and European markets, including opportunities to fly over to cities such as Dublin, Amsterdam and Copenhagen for client meetings.
• Gym membership given to all staff, with elongated lunch breaks for you to go during the day

• Market mapping – study the sector you work within and get to know everyone in the industry to get the inside scoop
• Headhunting your candidates through cold calling, advertising, LinkedIn posts and messages
• Organising interviews and helping candidates succeed to offer stage!
