TRM Recruitment in London is seeking a Trainee Recruitment Consultant for the US data centre construction niche. You will work London hours to align with US East Coast, starting with thorough training and a base salary of £26,000 plus uncapped commission.

You'll source and engage US construction professionals, build client relationships and learn the full recruitment cycle from mapping to closing offers, with a clear path to seniority as you bill and grow your network.

Qualifications

• 2025 or 2026 graduate with any degree discipline.
• Willing to work US hours from London.
• Competitive, resilient and money-motivated with a results focus.
• Confident communicator capable of speaking with senior professionals.
• Organised and self-disciplined with follow-up discipline.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and speaking with US construction and engineering professionals – project managers, superintendents, MEP specialists, estimators and commissioning leads.
• Building relationships with hiring managers at data centre owners, general contractors and specialist subcontractors.
• Learning the full cycle: market mapping, headhunting, qualifying, managing interviews and closing offers.
• Progressing to your own patch, your own clients and full commission earning potential.
