Job summary

Waythrough is a mental health and social support charity based in London. It is seeking a Trainee Recovery Coordinator on a fixed-term 12-month contract to provide wraparound support to clients at any stage of their treatment journey, working with community partners to build recovery capital outside the service setting.

The successful candidate will gain knowledge, skills and practical experience to progress into a Recovery Practitioner role.

Qualifications

• Experience in the drug and alcohol field preferred.
• Ability to manage a smaller caseload while learning.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed Term - 12 Month

Salary: £28,690 - £37,126

The role involves providing wraparound support to clients at any stage of their treatment journey - whether at the beginning, middle, or towards completion.

This is an outward-facing role, working closely with community partners to create and strengthen opportunities for clients to build recovery capital outside of the service setting.

The post is particularly suited to individuals seeking to transition into the drug and alcohol field. As a trainee, the successful candidate will gain the knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary to progress into a Recovery Practitioner role. They will hold a smaller caseload than qualified practitioners, with dedicated time focused on learning and upskilling.
