Watkin Jones plc is seeking a motivated Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. This entry role offers hands-on experience across cost management, procurement, subcontractor administration, and commercial reporting while you develop your career in Quantity Surveying.

Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work on diverse construction projects, receive mentoring, and gain exposure to pricing, cost control, and project administration.

Qualifications

• Academic or vocational experience in the construction industry.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong numeracy skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost management, procurement, subcontractor administration, and commercial reporting.
• Provide general administrative support to the commercial function.
• As skills develop, work on a variety of schemes across the business.
