Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6/7 advanced practitioner for the Integrated Sexual Health Service. The post is permanent and part-time (22.5 hours per week), offering autonomous practice with teaching and supervision of junior colleagues.

This Band 7 or Band 6 advanced practice post sits in the Integrated Sexual Health Service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, a level 3 service. The work centres on assessing, diagnosing and managing complex sexual and reproductive health presentations, including STI testing, treatment and contraception. The permanent part-time post, 22.5 hours a week, combines autonomous practice with teaching and supervising junior colleagues. Applicants need professional registration, a degree and at least 18 months' post-registration experience.

Registration & licences

• Professional registration (NMC for nursing or midwifery, HCPC for allied health)

Experience

• 18 months minimum post-registration experience
• At least 6 months' experience in Integrated Sexual Health or relevant experience
• Experience of teaching and assessing others

Skills & knowledge

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Knowledge of area of practice and use of evidence-based practice
• Enhanced communication skills and ability to manage a caseload
• Excellent organisational skills and advanced ICT skills, including Microsoft Office

• STI Foundation intermediate competencies and Letters of Competence (SDI and IUT)
