Job summary

Teesside Mind, in partnership with Alliance Psychological Services, is recruiting Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to start the PWP training at Teesside University in January 2027. The role blends NHS Talking Therapies duties with on-campus learning and requires face-to-face work across Teesside, with some remote work.

Successful trainees will complete the Low Intensity CBT PGCert during year one while contributing to Impact on Teesside NHS Talking Therapies.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health care setting.
• Evidence of training in mental health and related issues.
• Willingness to pursue BABCP/BPS registration upon completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide low intensity CBT interventions within NHS Talking Therapies framework.
• Offer assessment and support within Impact on Teesside service.
• Attend university-based training and supervision.
