Job summary

Vita Health Group Limited is recruiting Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to join the Talking Therapies service across Leicester City, Leicestershire & Rutland. The role provides Low Intensity interventions while completing a Post Graduate Certificate at De Montfort University starting March 2027.

This is a fixed-term 12-month training post with potential to apply for a permanent PWP position afterwards, supporting a diverse and inclusive service with excellent development

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Level 5 minimum or equivalent evidence.
• Level 6 qualification requires at least one year experience with mental health clients.
• Level 5 requires two years experience with mental health clients.
• Willingness to travel and provide out-of-hours clinics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Low Intensity interventions within the Talking Therapies service.
• Undertake Post Graduate Certificate training delivered by De Montfort University.
• Work under supervision to provide step 2 Guided Self-Help interventions.
• Be part of a 12-month fixed-term training post with potential permanent opportunities.
