Train to become a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with NHS Northamptonshire Talking Therapies and help people make meaningful changes to their mental health and wellbeing. This rewarding role combines study and hands‑on clinical experience, supporting adults with common mental health difficulties through evidence‑based interventions.
We are looking for compassionate, resilient and motivated individuals who are passionate about improving access to mental health support. You will need excellent communication skills, empathy, organisiation and a genuine commitment to helping others achieve recovery and positive change.
As a trainee PWP, you will support adults experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression within NHS Talking Therapies. You will complete assessments, manage a supervised caseload and deliver evidence‑based low‑intentsity interventions through face‑to‑face, telephone and digital appoitments.
Alongside university training, you will help people develop self‑management skills, promote recovery and maintain accurate clinical records while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
