Job summary

Infinis Energy Group in Swansea seeks a Trainee Project Manager to join our Construction team, supporting experienced Project Managers across planning, coordination and delivery of renewable energy projects from development through construction and handover.

You’ll gain practical experience across the project lifecycle, including programme and budget monitoring, reporting, stakeholder coordination, procurement, document control and site delivery, with time on project sites to understand safe,

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Eligibility to undertake Level 4 Associate Project Manager apprenticeship.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to build effective working relationships.
• A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A logical approach to problem solving, with initiative, reliability and professionalism.
• A full UK driving licence, or willingness to obtain one, is preferred.
• A Levels, T Level, BTEC or an equivalent qualification are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in planning, coordination and delivery of renewable energy projects.
• Assist in monitoring project programmes, milestones, budgets and project risks.
• Produce reports, presentations and project documentation to support project delivery.
• Attend project meetings, record actions and monitor progress against timescales.
• Help coordinate internal teams, contractors, consultants and other external stakeholders.
• Support planning, procurement and commercial activities where appropriate.
• Maintain project documentation and document control in line with company procedures.
• Undertake site visits to understand project delivery, construction activities and operational requirements.
• Support compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
• Complete all apprenticeship learning activities and apply learning in the workplace.
• Undertake other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
