Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support our team of Project Managers on English and Scottish onshore wind projects in the development phase, covering from concept to planning and financing. This role focuses on delivering milestones, maintaining essential PM documents, and guiding design-related workstreams across Great Britain.

You will build strong relationships with internal teams and external consultants, promote safety, and engage with landowners and public officials

Qualifications

• Good IT skills and competent at using Office 365 suite

Responsibilities

• To support Onshore Wind Development Project Managers and project teams by delivering internal and external milestones and approvals for development phase (pre-construction) onshore wind projects in Great Britain.
• Maintain control over key project management documents and processes, such as project timelines, project management plans, risk registers, stakeholder matrices, budgets and more.
• To lead specific onshore wind design-related workstreams as delegated by a project manager, this might include, for example, drafting a stakeholder engagement plan, overseeing ecological survey activities, or managing civil engineering design of an onshore wind project.
• Create and maintain good long-term relationships with other Vattenfall departments and external consultants involved in the projects
• Help promote a safety conscious, professional team
• Communicate with landowners, public officials and other local stakeholders.
