Berry Recruitment is currently hiring a Trainee Production Operative for a company in Oxford, Oxfordshire.

Role:

Trainee Production Operator - Pharmaceutical

Salary:

£26,000 per annum

Location:

Oxford, Oxfordshire

Hours:

08:00 - 16:30 (Monday - Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace for manufacturing operations and support Level 2+ Operators.
2. Assist with packaging operations.
3. Support manufacturing tasks as trained and signed off.
4. Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of manufacturing areas, including floors, workstations, and equipment.
5. Ensure cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces and machinery.
6. Manage waste disposal and restock cleaning supplies.
7. Follow safety protocols and wear PPE during cleaning duties.
8. Coordinate cleaning schedules with team members and supervisors.
9. Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
10. Adhere to SOPs and company policies regarding hygiene and cleanliness.

About You:

• Experience as a cleaner, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings, is advantageous but not necessary.
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and lifting as needed.
