Job summary

Barker Ross is seeking a Trainee Machine Operative for their busy production team in the LE3 Braunstone area of Leicester. You will operate and monitor a production printing machine, ensure efficiency, and work with other departments to complete customer orders.

The role follows a 4-shift continental pattern of 12-hour days and nights. Training starts at the National Minimum Wage and progression leads to 13.52 then 14.44 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring a production printing machine
• Ensuring the machine is running efficiently and achieving required production rates
• Working closely with other departments to ensure customer orders are completed on time
• Carrying out quality checks and following company quality and health and safety procedures
• Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient working environment
