Job summary

Hague Group is seeking a Trainee Print Operator for our Normanton facility. No prior print experience is required as full training will be provided.

The role involves learning to operate print production machinery, set up dies and plates, and maintain quality records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will join a hands-on team, with rotating shifts Mon-Fri 6.00am-2.00pm and 2.00pm-10.00pm, and a salary of £28,850 per year including shift allowance.

Qualifications

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to initiate their career in print production.

You’ll need to be:

• Mechanically minded with an interest in how things work
• Comfortable using IT systems and technology
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
• Safety-conscious, organised and reliable
• Willing and able to learn and develop new skills
• A strong team player with good communication skills
• Capable of undertaking a role involving regular manual handling
• Able to work rotating shifts Monday to Friday: 6.00am-2.00pm and 2.00pm-10.00pm

What you'll be doing

You’ll learn how to produce high-quality labels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating print production machinery

The successful candidate will operate and oversee state-of-the-art automated equipment, utilising technology to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production.
