Job summary

Hague Group is seeking a Trainee Print Operator for our Normanton facility. No prior print experience is required as full training will be provided.

The role involves learning to operate print production machinery, set up dies and plates, and maintain quality records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will join a hands-on team, with rotating shifts Mon-Fri 6.00am-2.00pm and 2.00pm-10.00pm, and a salary of £28,850 per year including shift allowance.

Qualifications

• No print industry experience required; training provided.
• Attitude, aptitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Comfortable with IT systems and technology.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to undertake regular manual handling.
• Safe, organised and reliable approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate print production machinery.
• Install cutting dies and plates.
• Carry out quality inspections to meet specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Work safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
