Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Planning Administrator (Agriculture) in Mansfield to support harvesting operations, maintain records, and help plan schedules. Full training will be provided as you grow in a farming environment.

You will analyze yield data, update planning systems, and communicate important information across departments. A background in farming or an agricultural qualification is preferred. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with enhanced overtime and benefits.

Mansioni

• Maintain accurate records of crop yields, harvested areas, stock availability and field performance.
• Assist with preparing and updating rolling four-week harvesting and crop sampling schedules.
• Monitor harvest progress and provide accurate information to support crop planning decisions.
• Analyse production and harvesting data to identify performance trends and potential issues.
• Update planning databases, spreadsheets and internal reporting systems.
• Review crop documentation and highlight missing or inaccurate information.
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.

Are you someone with a farming or agricultural background, looking to kickstart your career with an exciting company that provides full training and opportunities for your development?

On offer is the opportunity to join a successful third-generation, family-owned agricultural and food production business specialising in the growing, packing and distribution of fresh root vegetables to major UK retailers. Having seen major growth over the last few years, the company is looking to expand its team.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate harvest, stock and crop performance information, supporting the planning and coordination of harvesting operations.

Working closely with the Crop Planning Manager and wider farming and factory teams, you will update planning schedules, analyse yield and quality data, produce reports and ensure important information is communicated effectively between departments.

The suitable candidate will have an agricultural related qualification or a background in crop farming.

The Role
