Job summary

Cohens Chemist is recruiting a 40-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract for our Heysham branch at Heysham Primary Care Centre. Duties include dispensing, labeling, stock management, and customer service under pharmacist guidance.

Training will lead to Counter Course and NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing. Ideal candidates have prior customer service experience and a willingness to undertake the required training to progress within the business.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is welcomed.
• Duties include accurate dispensing and labeling of prescriptions.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training to progress to Counter Course and NVQ Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Accurate dispensing and labeling of prescription items under supervision.
• Assist with ordering and stock management in the dispensary and shop.
• Provide high standard of service to customers and support a well-established team.
