Job summary

Stagecoach in Kirkwall is seeking new drivers. You will start with fully paid training to obtain your PCV licence and then drive a modern fleet with a 43-hour weekly schedule.

No prior driving experience is required—earn while you learn and join a supportive team. You will be trained to a high standard, with progression opportunities across the Stagecoach network.

Job description

Salary £14.60 per hour. OTE £31,400 based on 43 hour working week. Overtime rate of £16.50 PH paid on any hours worked over 42.

• Annual earnings of £31.400 following completion of training based on 43 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
• Shift patterns of any 5 over 7

• Completing our industry leading training, securing your PCV licence followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as a part of DVLA requirement)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
• Being the face of Stagecoach, a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service
• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
