Job summary

Stagecoach Morecambe depot is seeking trainee bus drivers to join our team. You will be paid from day one while training to obtain your PCV licence through our Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship, with training costs covered.

Responsibilities

Job description

Salary Starting at £15.34 for your first initial 6 months, and then rising to either £15.83 or £16.25 depending on the routes driven. Working 4 or 5 days over 7 with various shift patterns. Ready to take the wheel? Learn to become a bus driver at the UK's Number 1 bus company. We are looking for trainee bus drivers to join our team immediately. You'll be paid to learn how to drive a bus at our expert driving academy, become part of a great community, and get rewarded for a job you love.

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence for a least 1 year with no more than 6 penalty points. No Bans in past 5 Years (Drink/Drug Drive Bans past 10 years). No Mobile Phone Offences in past 3 Years
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as part of DVLA requirement)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
• Being the face of Stagecoach, a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service
• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
