Gill Jennings & Every LLP in London is seeking a Trainee Patent Attorney for IT & Engineering. You will apply your physics/electronics background to drafting, filing and prosecution from day one.

Training combines on-the-job learning with formal study, aiming for European Patent Attorney and Chartered UK Patent Attorney. You will be mentored by senior attorneys and work with a mix of multinational clients, SMEs and startups.

Qualifications

• A degree in physics, electronics/electrical engineering or another high-tech discipline (2:1, first class or equivalent)
• A level Physics (or equivalent qualification)
• Strong academic achievement at GCSE and A level (or equivalent)
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Responsabilités

• On-the-job training with formal study leading to IP qualifications
• Drafting, filing and prosecution work early in training
• Mentoring from expert attorneys and collaboration with colleagues
• Engagement with a diverse client base and internal projects
