Job summary

Withers & Rogers LLP in Bristol seeks a bright Trainee Patent Attorney to join the Advanced Engineering Group and train to become a Chartered UK and European Patent Attorney. You will work on live cases, gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies, and start taking responsibility early in your training.

The program includes comprehensive in-house instruction, courses supported by CIPA, and a culture focused on work-life balance and professional development.

Qualifications

• Strong degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (2:1 or above).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to grasp new technical concepts.
• Confidence communicating with clients and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Work on live client cases under supervision.
• Gain exposure to a wide range of technologies within engineering.
• Take on real responsibility early in training and contribute to client work.
