Job summary

Haseltine-Lake-Kempner (HLK) invites applications for trainee patent attorneys in Glasgow, with a Chemistry background at degree level (2:1) or equivalent. You will join a fast-growing Life Science and Chemistry team and receive mentoring from partners through the HLK Academy to develop into a leading practitioner.

Qualifications

• A strong academic background to at least 2:1 degree level, we will also accept candidates with a Chemistry degree.
• Excellent communication skills adaptable for clients from varied backgrounds.
• Attention to detail and accuracy essential for IP work.

Responsibilities

• Secure intellectual property rights for clients in electronics, engineering, chemical and biotechnology sectors.
• Participate in training through HLK Academy to develop into a patent attorney.
• Support and contribute to a growing Glasgow office with mentorship from experienced partners.
