Job summary

HLK IP in Glasgow is seeking a patent attorney with a Chemistry background to join our expanding Life Science team. Training is provided through the HLK Academy with mentoring from experienced Partners.

The role offers an international, client-facing environment with opportunities to travel and develop expertise across electronics, engineering, chemical and biotech sectors. Start in September 2027; UK Sponsor Licence available for eligible applicants.

• A strong academic background to at least 2:1 degree level, we will also accept candidates with a Chemistry degree.

• The ability to make confident judgement calls based on information provided
• A good eye for detail and accuracy.
