Job summary

Lyons Davidson is looking for a Trainee Paralegal to join the Motor Recoveries Team in Leeds city centre on a permanent basis. The role involves liaising with claimants and insurers, gathering information for litigation, and preparing matters for court where necessary.

You will work in a fast-paced environment handling claims through pre- and post-litigation stages, with hybrid working (2 days in the Leeds office, 3 days from home) and a focus on delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths (minimum).
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Interest in law and willingness to develop legal knowledge.
• Covering letter should explain interest in Lyons Davidson and the field of law.

Responsibilities

• Answering calls from clients and third parties to gather information.
• Provide initial legal guidance on prospects of success.
• Drafting letters and correspondence to clients, insurers and solicitors.
• Pursue claims through pre- and post-litigation stages using case management system.
• Adhere to service standards and administrative procedures.
