Job summary

Specsavers Rustington is looking for a motivated Trainee Optical Assistant to join our store team. No years of experience required; you’ll receive comprehensive training and the support of experienced Opticians and Technicians to grow your career in optical and retail.

As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you’ll welcome customers, help with eye tests bookings, pre-screening, style advice, frame measurements, and phone inquiries. A positive attitude and readiness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required, just enthusiasm and a passion for helping customers.
• Good communication and friendly, approachable manner.
• Willingness to learn and develop within Specsavers.

Our store

Specsavers Rustington is a customer-focused opticians providing professional eye-care and hearing services to the local community. The store offers eye examinations, sight tests, contact lens consultations and fittings, as well as the dispensing and fitting of glasses and sunglasses. The team also provides hearing tests and hearing-care services, delivering professional clinical care alongside friendly, personalized customer service to meet each customer's individual needs.

The Rustington team is a close-knit, friendly, and highly skilled group of optical and retail professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional service to every customer. With experienced Optometrists, dedicated Dispensing professionals, and a supportive retail team, the store offers a collaborative environment where everyone works together to provide the best possible care.
