Job summary

Specsavers in Ross-on-Wye is seeking a Trainee Optical Assistant to join our welcoming store team. You will learn on the job with expert support from Opticians and Technicians and have access to extensive training and development across business areas.

We offer full-time hours (37.5 per week) with weekend work. Competitive hourly pay (£11.05–£12.91) with a company pension, Staff perks, and wellbeing support. No prior optical experience required.

Qualifications

• No experience required; passionate, hard-working individuals welcome.
• Willing to learn and develop in optical/retail environment.
• Strong customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
