Specsavers Burton-on-Trent is seeking an Optical Assistant who is caring and customer-focused. You’ll join a welcoming team supported by experienced Opticians and Technicians, with ongoing training and development across business areas to help you grow your career.

In this busy store on the High Street, you’ll help welcome customers, book eye tests, pre-screen patients, offer style advice, measure frames and handle phone inquiries.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles within optics preferred.
• Attention to detail and good manual dexterity for measuring frames.
• Willingness to learn and develop across optical teams.

Our store

Located on Burton-on-Trent’s bustling High Street, Specsavers is a busy and well-established store at the heart of the local community, providing exceptional optical and audiology services. The store features six fully equipped test rooms, enabling the team to deliver a high volume of clinical appointments while maintaining excellent standards of patient care. Conveniently situated close to Coopers Square Shopping Centre and a range of retail and leisure amenities, the store enjoys excellent public transport links, with numerous local and regional bus services stopping nearby and Burton-on-Trent railway station within walking distance, offering direct connections to major cities including Derby, Birmingham and Nottingham. This central location creates a vibrant workplace that is easily accessible.
