Job description
Overview

FM Conway are searching for an enthusiastic Trainee Operative to join us at our Newhaven Asphalt Plant. Working a mixture of day and night shifts, you will join us on a permanent basis. As our Trainee Operative you will need to operate the plant and associated equipment to facilitate production of materials for our customer’s needs.

Responsibilities
  • Operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner that complies with FMC procedures
  • Loading of material onto vehicles
  • Undertaking all loading shovel operations as required
  • Operating all weighbridge functions as required
  • Following site Health & Safety procedures
  • Contributing to overall well-being and profitability of the site and the business
Qualifications / Skills

To be considered for this role It is essential that you are a team player, with good communications skills and a full UK driving license. You will be flexible, computer literate and health and safety conscious. Previous experience within a similar role would be desirable.
