A unique opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 trainee Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic Nuclear Medicine and PET CT team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Current advances in nuclear medicine are dramatically improving patient outcomes. New scientific applications underpin modern healthcare, offering bright and committed individuals the chance to be part of a world-class scientific workforce in the NHS.
This post provides comprehensive training across patient imaging, radiopharmaceutical production and administration, as well as Nuclear Medicine equipment operation and quality assurance programs.
Applicants are welcome from any graduate of a healthcare-related course. Non-traditional entry is considered on an individual basis; previous healthcare work experience is advantageous. Candidates should normally possess a 2:1 honours degree (or above) or a vocational award with evidence of further learning. Please note, this role is designed as an entry into nuclear medicine and is not suitable for candidates with a prior nuclear medicine qualification.
Successful candidates must be in post, enrolled, and ready to start with the University of Salford by September 2025.
