Job summary

Element Materials Technology Ltd. is hiring a Trainee / NDT Technician to join our Dudley facility. You will perform dye penetrant and MPI inspections to support production quality and compliance. Training is provided for those starting in NDT, with opportunities to progress as skills develop.

The role involves accurate data recording, reporting results, and collaboration with production and quality teams while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in dye penetrant and MPI for qualified candidates.
• Trainees: interest in engineering/manufacturing with willingness to learn NDT techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections (dye penetrant and MPI) on-site at the Dudley plant.
• Accurately record, analyse, and report results in line with procedures and standards.
• Support production and quality teams with feedback on inspection outcomes.
• Maintain inspection equipment, tools, and records.
• Follow health & safety protocols and promote safe working practices.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out other duties as required by the business.
