Cameron James Professional Recruitment is recruiting a Trainee Mortgage Advisor in Bognor Regis to join a growing estate agency and financial services business. You will receive structured training, ongoing mentoring and the support needed to develop into a professional Mortgage Advisor.

Qualifications

• CeMAP qualification or currently studying towards CeMAP preferred.
• Previous experience in estate agency, banking, financial services, sales or customer service would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A motivated, ambitious and target-driven approach.
• A genuine interest in financial services and helping customers achieve their property goals.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• A professional attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a successful team.

Responsibilities

• Building strong relationships with customers, estate agency colleagues and introducers.
• Learning how to assess customer needs and identify suitable mortgage and protection solutions.
• Supporting mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Working with experienced advisers, lenders and administration teams.
• Converting warm leads and identifying opportunities from existing customers and referrals.
• Delivering excellent customer service throughout the mortgage process.
• Developing your knowledge of mortgage products, lending criteria and FCA compliance requirements.
• Working towards professional qualifications and full Mortgage Advisor competency.
• Achieving individual and team performance targets.
