Cameron James Professional Recruitment is recruiting for an ambitious Trainee Mortgage Advisor to join a growing estate agency and financial services business in Reigate.

You will receive structured training, ongoing mentoring and warm leads with full admin support and a clear career progression path toward professional mortgage advisory qualifications, with a £27,000 basic salary, £2,500 car allowance and realistic OTE £55,000+.

Qualifications

• CeMAP qualification or currently studying towards CeMAP.
• Experience in estate agency, banking, financial services, sales or customer service advantageous.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Motivated, ambitious and target-driven.
• Interest in financial services and helping customers achieve property goals.

Responsibilities

• Building strong relationships with customers, estate agency colleagues and introducers.
• Learning how to assess customer needs and identify suitable mortgage and protection solutions.
• Supporting mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Working with experienced advisers, lenders and administration teams.
• Converting warm leads and identifying opportunities from existing customers and referrals.
• Delivering excellent customer service throughout the mortgage process.
• Developing knowledge of mortgage products, lending criteria and FCA compliance requirements.
• Working towards professional qualifications and full Mortgage Advisor competency.
• Achieving individual and team performance targets.
