Job summary

Michelin is seeking a motivated individual for the role of Trainee Mobile Tyre Technician in the Newcastle Upon Tyne area. This hands-on mobile position involves visiting customer sites, learning tyre fitting and servicing, and using a company van to travel between appointments.

Starting salary is £27,000 with bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package. Training is provided, with no tyre fitting experience required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as part of the role.
• Good customer service and communication skills required.
• Reliable, practical and able to work independently in a mobile role.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites across the Newcastle Upon Tyne area in a company van.
• Learn to fit and service industrial tyres safely.
• Handle wheels, tools and equipment as part of daily tasks.
• Use a tablet to update job details and reports.
• Represent Michelin in a professional and friendly manner.
