Job summary

Michelin is hiring a Trainee Mobile Industrial Tyre Technician in Newcastle Upon Tyne. You will train to fit and service industrial tyres, visiting customer sites in a company van, with full training provided and a competitive benefits package. The role offers 37.5 hours per week, weekdays, with a starting salary of £27,000 plus bonus and comprehensive training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Approachable, reliable and a team player.
• Experience of manual handling is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn a new trade.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites in company van.
• Learn to fit and service industrial tyres safely.
