Job summary

Inclusion Drug and Alcohol Services, part of Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, is recruiting a Trainee Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner. The role is full-time, training starts 5 January 2027, with study at the University of Sussex and clinical work across Hampshire’s drug and alcohol services.

During 12 months you will be supervised, complete graduate/postgraduate training, and be funded.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification required.
• Ability to work autonomously and maintain accurate, timely case records.
• Strong communication skills with empathy and trauma-informed approach.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision to support people with substance misuse.
• Deliver wellbeing-focused, psychologically informed interventions.
• Participate in training and contribute to programme delivery.
