Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Trainee Mechanical Engineering Tutor in Hull with a starting salary of £39,300 per year. The role offers fully funded training and a permanent, trainee position with comprehensive benefits.

Successful candidates will coach and mentor learners through Level 3 and 4 Mechanical Engineering qualifications, delivering and coordinating training activities in a hands-on environment. Minimum 5 years in mechanical engineering and a Level 3 qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience in Mechanical Engineering (Maintenance or Design background preferred).
• Mandatory Level 3 Engineering related qualification.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor learners undertaking Level 3 and Level 4 Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
• Deliver and coordinate the successful completion of mechanical engineering qualifications.
• Provide hands-on coaching and technical guidance to apprentices in the training centre.
• Train apprentices in line with awarding body standards.
• Work in a hands-on, team-based training environment.
