What We're Looking For
- A strong interest in mechanical engineering
- Experience repairing cars, motorcycles, machinery, bicycles or similar equipment would be advantageous
- Someone who enjoys taking things apart and understanding how they work
- Practical hands‑on skills and a willingness to learn
- Good problem‑solving ability
- Reliable and committed attitude
- Driving licence desirable but not essential, as occasional work may be carried out at customer sites
Duties
- Assisting with the manufacture and refurbishment of specialist mechanical equipment
- Supporting installation, maintenance and repair projects
- Using hand and power tools
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Working alongside experienced engineers to develop technical skills
- Occasional travel to customer locations to support site‑based work
